Cabo Rojo

Cabo Rojo is probably the most underrated natural attraction in Puerto Rico. With stunning cliff, beach, and ocean views, the area is full of pleasant surprises.

There are two main parts of Cabo Rojo: The more inland salt flats and the coastal cliff scenery. The salt flats near Cabo Rojo are so cool, where you are surrounded by a sea of white across the surrounding forested landscape. The cliff area is equally amazing, as they beautifully contrast with the turquoise blue sea. What's also cool about the area is the abundance of birds including a flock of White Cheeked Pintails in the salt flats.
